Respect the Confidentiality of the Claimant:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Employees must treat all information about the Claimant as confidential and use it only for the intended purposes.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Personal data and confidential information must not be disclosed to unauthorized individuals.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Compliance with Data Protection Legislation and best practices for handling confidential information is mandatory.<\/p><h5>3. Maintain High Standards of Personal and Professional Conduct:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Employees must uphold high standards of personal and professional conduct to maintain the trust and confidence of the general public and stakeholders.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Cooperation with MedCo and other bodies (HCPC \/ GMC) and its personnel, including timely response to correspondence and complaints, is expected.<\/p><h5>4. Provide Important Information about Conduct and Competence:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Employees must promptly inform MedCo of any important information regarding their own conduct or competence, as well as that of their colleagues, in accordance with applicable laws.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; This includes disclosures related to criminal convictions, disciplinary actions, allegations of misconduct, or financial difficulties.<\/p><h5>5. Keep Professional Skills and Knowledge Up to Date:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Employees are responsible for maintaining up-to-date professional skills, knowledge, and performance relevant to their roles.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Compliance with accreditation requirements and ongoing training, particularly in areas related to MedCo, is essential.<\/p><h5>6. Keep Accurate Records:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Accurate records must be maintained of all interactions with Claimants and activities related to the use of the MedCo Database.<\/p><h5>7. Behave with Integrity:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Integrity must be demonstrated in all interactions with Claimants, colleagues, and stakeholders.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Full disclosure of any financial links with other parties involved in the process, adherence to legal requirements regarding referral fees, and avoidance of misleading information are imperative.<\/p><h5>8. Comply with Civil Procedure Rules, Practice Directions, and Protocols:<\/h5><p>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Compliance with relevant civil procedure rules, practice directions, and protocols, including fraud checks required by the RTA protocol, is mandatory.<\/p><h5>9.
